I'm fascinated by the way humans process visual information. I love to apply this fascination to data communication: reports and dashboards. For me the goal of any report/dashboard is to allow a human to take the appropriate action. For people to act on data we need to optimise the dashboards and reports for human consumption. This is not hard, but for some just a different perspective.
