Posting Groups and Dimensions Demystified in Business Central
Description
Posting Groups control most of the account assignments in Business Central, but they're not much different than Checkbook Account assignments, Fixed Asset Account Groups and Customer and Vendor Class Account Settings in Dynamics GP. We will review posting group assignments and how they affect accounts used in transactions. Dimensions allow you to assign attributes to data for robust reporting. We will review reporting examples based on Dimensions.
